I was invited to create the cover for the special issue of The Mantovaner, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of The New Yorker. For me, with my deep love for the city of New York and its iconic magazine, it was an exciting opportunity to express this special connection.
Cover No. 9 of The Mantovaner: "A Special Birthday"
On February 21, 1925, the first issue of The New Yorker was published. To honor the birth of our source of inspiration, we invite you on a tour of the city that never sleeps—through Broadway, the constellations on the ceiling of Grand Central Station, the Flatiron Building, Radio City Music Hall, and many other iconic locations. And most importantly, what connects Mantua to New York: Virgil's quote, "No day shall erase you from the memory of time," which greets visitors at the 9/11 Museum and Memorial.

Sono stata invitata a realizzare la cover per il numero speciale di The Mantovaner, dedicato ai 100 anni del New Yorker. Per me, che nutro un profondo amore per la città di New York e la sua iconica rivista, è stata un’occasione emozionante per esprimere questo legame speciale.

Il 21 Febbraio 1925 usciva il primo numero del New Yorker. Per omaggiare la nascita della nostra fonte di ispirazione vi portiamo a fare un giro per la città che non dorme mai, tra Broadway, le costellazioni sul soffitto della Grand Central Station, il Flatiron Building, Radio City Music Hall e tanti altri luoghi iconici. E, soprattutto, ciò che unisce Mantova a New York: la frase di Virgilio “No day shall erase you from the memory of time” che accoglie i visitatori al Museo e Memoriale dell’11 Settembre.
